* Times are to your final proof. After you approve, we publish any print editions on Amazon and produce any narration, so these add-ons don't add weeks to the time to your final proof.
* Your child's likeness: your child's actual appearance is hand-illustrated by our artist and used as the visual character throughout the book. It adds about a week to the timeline.
* One custom character: a character of your choosing — named after your child, or invented — drawn for your story, without using your child's appearance.
* Revision rounds per illustration means rounds on each illustration, not across the book.
* Extra revision rounds beyond those included are available and quoted separately. See the Refund Policy for how add-ons are treated if a project is cancelled.

At Cochain Books, we work for your child — not the other way around. Here is exactly what that means:
✅ Your child owns their story and their own characters — forever. Any Cochain Books character stays ours, free for your child to keep using in their book.
✅ You keep 100% of net royalties from every copy sold — on Amazon, and wherever a bookshop or library orders it. Those orders carry a trade discount, so royalties on them are lower — see Author Rights. We take nothing from sales.
✅ You receive all final files — print-ready PDFs — when the project is complete. They are yours.
✅ Three years from first publication, the publishing rights return to your child automatically — we only finish orders already placed. Most publishers ask 5–10 years.
✅ If the book is unavailable from the major retailers for over six months, the publishing rights return to your child automatically — early, and without asking.
